Introduction to Adobe® Illustrator CS4
Join us and explore the fundamental elements of Illustrator CS4. Learn how to
draw and edit vector-based graphic paths using the pen tool. Other topics we will cover
include: getting to know the CS4 Illustrator work area, using transform tools, working
with colors and swatches, working with layers, and working with text.
Class meets four Wednesdays at the Cleveland Institute of Art: February 10th - March 3rd from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Introduction to Adobe® InDesign CS4
Explore the basics of using InDesign CS4. Topics include workspace, panels, tools, placing graphics and text, text wrap and more! Previous page layout experience is helpful.
Class meets four Thursdays at the Cleveland Institute of Art: March 4th - March 25th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Classes are located at CSU's West Center Campus in Westlake or the Cole Center in downtown Cleveland. Hands-on PC Lab with Adobe Creative Suite 4. Classes include refreshments and lunch.

Adobe® InDesign® Level II
Build on the concepts and skills learned in Adobe InDesign CS4: Level I, students will learn how to use the application to create professional looking layouts more efficiently.

Adobe® Illustrator® Level I
Adobe Illustrator is an essential tool for anyone who needs to express ideas visually in print or on the Web. This course covers the fundamental concepts and skills for working with this versatile piece of software to create artwork.
Thursdays, May 20th and 27th, 8:30am-4:30pm at the West Center

Adobe® Dreamweaver® Level I
Learn to construct professional Web pages with Dreamweaver. This software allows designers to create professional Web pages with little or no programming experience.
Thursdays, June 3rd and 10th, 8:30am-4:30pm at the Cole Center

Adobe® Photoshop® Level 1
It’s all about image! In this course you’ll use Photoshop CS4 to create professional-looking images for both print and the Web. You’ll identify the components of the Photoshop environment, learn the difference between raster and vector graphics, and how to use Adobe Bridge. This class is for beginners!
